JUNIOR FAIR BOARD

Wayne County Junior Fair Board 2026

Qualifications:

Age 16 through 21 as of January 1st
One letter of recommendation (non-family)
Completed Junior Fair Board Application
Parent/Guardian Signature
Wayne County Fair Director/Associate Signature

Responsibilities:

Be willing to promote the Wayne County Fair in a positive manner.
Abide by the rules and responsibilities set forth by the Wayne County Junior Fair Board.
Work with Fair Directors through the summer work nights during the fair on different duties and tasks.
Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude with fair goers, Junior and Senior Fair Board members, as well as any other fair staff or volunteers.
Attended a minimum of 4 Junior Fair Board meetings.
Attached a minimum of 1 Wayne County Fair Board meeting.
Attended a minimum of 2 Fair work nights a month. ( June through August)

Benefits to Junior Fair Board members:

Be a part of the Wayne County Fair while learning how the fair works.
Learn to plan, prepare, cooperate and carry out certain fair events.
One wristband per member will be given to attend the fair.

Any Junior Fair Board member who does not perform his or her responsibilities to the satisfaction of the Junior Board Director may be dismissed at any time prior or during the Wayne County Fair.
